The whimsical guide

I'm going on an adventure

I'm writing a textbook.

I'm not doing it because I think it will be the best resource on the topic, even though I certainly hope it will be of high quality. I have spent a few years on teaching, so I think I know what I'm doing.

I'm not trying to earn heaps of money by doing it. Textbooks won't bring money in the year 2017.

I'm not trying to change the world. The world won't change from one textbook.

I'm doing it because I love writing and because I love teaching. Well, and a little bit for my parents. They are proud of me. I don't get why, but... Well, I guess all parents are like that. Illogical.

I'm also not trying to write a textbook that anyone else would write. I'm doing what I want to do, doing away with some conventions. It will be a very "Remy Luisant" textbook, for good, for ill, or for both.

The textbook, once out, will be available for free. I'm aiming for launch in aproximately April or maybe May 2017.
